AUSTIN – Texas Association of Business today released a statement following the announcement that Texas has been named the "Best State for Business" by Chief Executive Magazine for a record 19 years in a row:
“It is no surprise that Texas has been named the best state in the nation for business by CEOs throughout the country," TAB CEO Glenn Hamer said. "From the leadership of businesses’ friendliest governor, Greg Abbott, to a legislature that works to maintain and improve a free-market, pro-business environment, the Lone Star State offers the best opportunity for a company to start and grow. As the Texas State Chamber, we congratulate the Governor and all of our state leaders who work continually to advance policies that help expand business growth, create jobs, attract talent for our world-class workforce and bring major investments that strengthen all of our local communities.”
